Three Days From Norway

“Three Days From Norway” is a collection of 35mm & 127mm film photographs taken during a trip to Stavanger, Norway that was unexpectedly cut short due to COVID-19. When I left for Norway I was excited to be able to photograph my trip and my experiences. This was a trip where the only itinerary was grab a camera, get on a plane, and see what happens next! However, having the borders close just hours after we land and the country scheduling to close completely in 3 days was not something anyone could have expected. These photos were all captured on Kodak Portra 400 with a Canon AE-1 Program & a Rolleiflex 4x4. Negatives developed by Valley Film Lab.

Desert Daydream

A collection of photos documenting a 2019 trip to three National Parks in the American Southwest. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to GiveDirectly, a nonprofit that specializes in sending money directly to the world's poorest and most in need. This nonprofit has a COVID-19 relief fund for the USA, which is where the money from this book will be focused. Book contains 37 full color photos made on Fuji Superia 400 film in a Minolta 370n 35mm camera (except the cool night time photos - those were too dark for film so I used my digital camera) Thanks so much for the support!

Feeling that Merriment

In “Feeling that Merriment,” photographer Harry Littell explores the rhythms of the City of Ithaca at twilight between October 2019 and April 2020. The work captures the small dramas of people and architecture, the mystery of night becoming day and day becoming night again. As the series progresses, the impact of the arrival of Covid-19 is felt in subtle ways. The meanings of the images evolve as the context changes, and events that were once unimaginable become the new normal.

Dry Documentaries: Photographs - Volume 3 (2016-2017)

Initially comprised of photographs taken along the coasts of Maine, Cape Cod and the north and south forks of Long Island, “Dry Documentaries” depicts both familiar and imagined landscapes while simultaneously interpreting organic, abstract art forms also encountered. The landscapes, seascapes and abstract visions that make up this body of work are non-manipulated photographs captured as camera RAW files. Only minor contrast, color and tonal balance adjustments have been applied to the digital negatives. It is of utmost importance that my printed images are actual and accurate representations of what was framed through my viewfinder.
