The Face of Water, portraits by Rudi Dundas
For the past six years I have traveled to over 15 countries making portraits of the people affected by the world’s water crisis, in order to bring a personal face to the complexity of this urgent global problem. Drinking water is life’s most basic need. Yet nearly a billion people on our planet do not have access to it. Each portrait is accompanied by a short caption telling how that person has been affected by the world water crisis. The solution is not only digging wells and purifying surface water. It is connecting people one to one in order to work together to find solutions for these important global issues.
