Many new magazines appear on the horizon every couple of years...Some have unique appeal and show real promise, but most of the independently run magazine eventually dissapear leaving the large players to continue dominating the market. When we started VOLO magazine in 2012, a lot of skeptics told me that it was in impossible situation to try to go up against the giants of the industry in the men’s magazine market. It is difficult, and it has been a hard road. We had to deal with questions about our validity, questions about why we decided to be focused on the iPad, questions about our quality. With our 18th issue today, and 9th issue to rise to the top of the men’s magazine rankings on the worlds largest digital newsstand (zinio.com), VOLO Magazine can finally say that we have arrived!
