Inside the Gate - Kent Krugh
The visual effect is often not unlike the imprecise bones, organs and ghostly tissue of early human x-ray photographs. The tree becomes at once less of and more than itself. It still is a tree, singularly and multiplied, while it also represents itself in an almost generic way as a tree which stands for a tree.
