The Little Sisters
Emerging from 20 years of conflict that devastated their country, The Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate have dedicated their personal and religious lives to healing the negative effects of Uganda's civil war in post-conflict Acholiland. In December of 2012, with the generous support of the Chantal Paydar Foundation, we spent a month exploring their world of service and sacrifice. The following photographs offer a small glimpse into the lives and land of these extraordinary people.
