The Jewel in the Manuscript photographs by lynn roylance The Jewel in the Manuscript, a play by award-winning author and playwright Rosemary Zibart, performed February 1- February 16, 2014 at Warehouse 21, directed by Broadway actor/director Michael Graves. Nicholas Ballas plays Fyodor Dostoevsky who, beleaguered by debts, hires a stenographer, Anna Snitkina, played by Barbara Hatch, to help him write a novel in one month. Their growing devotion, however, is threatened by the specter of another woman who figures both in Dostoevsky’s life and his novel. The cast also includes Jennifer Graves, Hania Stocker and Justin Golding.
