Untamed Beauty: Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge
Untamed Beauty: Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge Featuring over 100 photographs taken over the course of three years, Untamed Beauty shows the many sides of Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge located in Florida’s Panhandle. The Refuge is one of the oldest in the country and was established in 1931 for wintering birds. In the decades since, it has become an important habitat for not only birds, but mammals, reptiles, and plants including a virgin palm forest. Inside, you’ll find photos of the beauty that can be found not only in the wildlife but in the landscapes as well. You’ll see bald eagles, huge alligators, colorful shorebirds, and lush landscapes full of exotic vegetation.
