pulp mill wood cords stacked through the summer; it will be all carted away soon enough; then mostly done by hand horse and the first chain saws now zooming through it all; an 8x10 camera requires quietness, tranquillity deep within one and around; it means the opposite to stillness, time to record the smallest detail, look at that long long branch with the vertically impossible snow; the act of keeping still there in place requires more skills than banging the forest with a chainsaw grinding noise; power is silent.
